teaching

See below for some of the courses that I've designed and taught.

UC Berkeley Astro 9: Python for Research in Astrophysics

A 6-week intensive summer course at UC Berkeley. This course is an introduction to Python programming, computational physics, and data science with an emphasis on astrophysical contexts. It is aimed at beginning undergraduates looking to begin research in physics or astrophysics.

Radio Astronomy Data Science Summer Bootcamp

A week-long intensive bootcamp crash course on the basics of radio astronomy, cosmology, intensity mapping and data analysis with a bent towards analyzing data from a premier experimental cosmology radio telescope. Organized and taught by HERA collaboration members, I designed and teach the lesson Data Analysis II: Interferometric Calibration and Imaging. For the summer 2021 bootcamp, I co-coordinated the camp and curriculum.
